The most detail portion of the service uses the cadastral line feature class of the SOA database. The Cadastral line layer is Scale dependent which currently comes on at around a scale of 1:5000. The cadastral line layer is symbolized on the Alpha Tag field as follows.</span><b><u><br /></u></b></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><img alt='Parcel Linework legend' src='https://sangis.co.sangamon.il.us/portal/sharing/rest/content/items/282dd8759c5d4a578925f93e08c2f8b4/data' /><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>This map service utilizes the<b> Parcel Point </b>feature class to partially label the <b>PIN </b>for each <b>parcel polygon</b>. <b><u>Parcel_Point LG</u></b> for the most detailed label when zoomed in beyond 1:1500 and <b><u>Parcel_Point SM</u></b> for less detail label when zoomed in past 1:4000 but >= 1:1500. The parcel point feature classes have no symbol because they are used here for labeling.</div><div><br /></div><div>The service when zoomed to its extents will display Sangamon County's Major <b>Areas</b> (<i>Geographic Townships</i>). Each area is Labeled Area 1 through Area 36 and represents the first two digits of the <b>PIN</b> (Parcel Index Number). As you zoom in the<b> Land Sections</b> will turn on and will be labeled 1 - 36 and represents the 3rd and 4th digits of the <b>PIN</b>. The 5th digit of a <b>PIN </b>will always be "0" in this map service since we filter for just the centroid points. As you zoom in closer still at around 1:4000 the parcel polygons will label with the last 3 digits of the PIN and if you zoom in past 1:1500 the parcel polygon will label with the block and the last three digits of the <b>PIN</b>.</div><div><br /></div><div><b><u><font size='4'>911 Addressing</font></u></b></div><div>This Map Service has a 911 Addressing layer which is turned off by default. The Field names used are:</div><div>HN, HNSFFX, PREDIR, PRE_TYPE, STNAME, STTYPE, SUFDIR, STATE, ZIP, PHCITY, STATUS, CLASS, PO_CITY,JoinID</div><div><br /></div><div>This same layer is used as the Situs Locator Address911Filtered. This layer and the locator are both Filtered to remove the 100 block address points.</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div> |
